Incredible fireworks, amazing information, and happy people; those things were few of the things we had experienced on Arabian day.
The Genius English Proficiency Academy celebrated another unforgettable Arabian Day on August 16, 2017.
To formally start the event, the Arabian manager (Mark) showed the beautiful fireworks up in the sky that they prepared for all.
The event was participated by all the students, teachers, staff, and general manager Ms. Tatiana. The Arabs presented the information about the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They asked the audience related to the country, and every correct answer has a corresponding reward. All information was amazing, from religion to the economy.
– Saudi Arabia has 83,000 square miles (2,149,690 square km) in total area, which makes it the 13th largest country in the world.
– Riyadh’s camel market is one of the largest in the world and sells about 100 camels per day.
– Saudi Arabia is the birthplace of Islam and home to the religion’s holiest shrines, Mecca and Medina.
– Islam, the last of the world’s great religions to get underway, originated in the Arabian Peninsula in the 7th century A.D. It is the second largest religion in the world after Christianity.
Before the celebration started, the Arabs prepared and cooked some Arabian food for everyone to be served after the discussion and games.
We would like to thank everyone for participating the celebration. Special thanks to the Arabian students and the Arabian manager, Mr. Mark for their effort to prepare such a wonderful presentation, delicious food, and to make this event successful. Happy Arabian Day! 🙂
