On September 17, 2015, two of our finest teachers took part in a training program held at Cebu Parklane International Hotel conducted by British Council in partnership with the Department of Tourism .
In this event, teachers from ESL institutions in Cebu province participated in the TKT Essentials training session. TKT Essentials, or Teaching Knowledge Test Essentials, is a course that provides methodologies and theories to English language teaching for teachers. The four-hour-long training was then followed by a seminar conducted by officials from the Department of Tourism regarding the ESL industry in the Philippines.
