Day of Taiwanese Culture (TOEFL in the Philippines)

Another culture has been featured for Genius English Proficiency Academy Nationality Day activity, and that is the Day of Taiwanese culture!

Embrace the Culture of Taiwan as Genius English Taiwanese students will share to us their culture. The Taiwanese day started with a food feast. Yes it is. Genius English students, staffs and teachers joined and enjoyed eating the Taiwanese foods. And it’s delicious  huh?

Right after that, they went to an open area to do the Sky lantern as it is one of the activity Taiwanese Students prepared for us. Sky Lantern is well-known in Taiwan. It is a little hot air inflatable made of paper, with an opening at the base where a little fire is suspended. But before they  wing in the sky lantern , they write a message on it.

A few minutes ago, the Day of Taiwanese culture presentation started. Mr. Justman started the presentation. He shared to us what culture they have in Taiwan. One of he presented is the Sky lantern which is minutes before the presentation started they did it the Sky lantern activity.

Not that just, they also presented to us their country’s history and destinations. After that, games followed. It is a group game where each of them has plastic stick and one rubber band. The leader must do it first and pass over to his/her member without using the hands. You can see in the picture how they did it.

Everybody was having a great time. We, thank you‪ ‎Taiwanese students for sharing your culture and delicious foods to us. No Need to go to Taiwan as Taiwanese students shared their culture and delicious foods here at Genius English Proficiency Academy for us.
