Day of Vietnamese Culture! (TOEFL in the Philippines)

The Genius English Proficiency Academy celebrates cultural exchange activity to showcase student’s country’s culture and their capabilities and or abilities to handle presentation. This is one way that students can enhance their English skills.

Moreover, On April 13, 2016, the academy featured the 1st culture exchange for this month of April. This is a place belong, to a Southeast Asian country on the South China Sea known for its beaches, rivers, Buddhist pagodas and bustling cities (Wikipedia.com). What am I talking about is Vietnam. Yes Vietnam! Let us see what Genius English student’s brought us during the Genius English Vietnamese Day!

On that day, Genius English Vietnamese students wore red T-shirts where the design was the Vietnam flag. As ypu can see pictue below. Vietnamese students with their teacher ans students.

On the other hand, they also prepared their slide presentation and foods specifically (Vietnamese fresh spring rolls) to be served that night.

Then the night came, they started the Vietnamese day with a short presentation about their country’s culture, tradition and their tourist attraction places in the person of Mike and Harin (Vietnamese students).

Truly a Vietnam is an interesting place to wander!

Right after that, there was a short demonstration of making a fresh spring roll in the person of Ann (Vietnamese student).

Ann (vietnamese student) teach her co-students,teachers and staffs on how to make fresh spring rolls.

And also there were games played, students and teachers participated and savor the night indeed!

And the night would not end, without the food tasting. Yehey! Students, teachers and staffs enjoyed the fresh spring rolls prepared by the Vietnamese students and Mr. Xen (Vietnamese Marketing Manager). They really enjoyed it.

Thank you Vietnamese students and also to our Vietnamese Marketing Manager Mr. Xen for savoring our night! It was an informative and blast Vietnamese Day!
