Genius English Got Talent! (IELTS in the Philippines)

The Genius English Proficiency Academy has its own version of the famous talent show “GOT TALENT”. “Everyone has talent. What is rare is the courage to follow the talent to the dark where it leads.” –Erica Jong.

Last June 8, 2016, Genius English conducted an activity called “Genius Got Talent” which shows off Genius English students, staffs and teachers’ talent. Six of Genius English students and one of Genius English teachers joined the contest without any hesitation. The contest started thereupon. The first person who showed off his talent was Alex (Russian student) with his elastic guitar performance. (Unfortunately, I don’t have pictures during his performance).

Next performer, was Yuma (Japanese Student) show off his unique raspy voice.

Third performer was Maru (Japanese student) with her lovely voice. She sang “for the first time and forever “from a Disney movie frozen but in the Japanese version.

Fourth performer was Ali (Arabian student) with his magical ability. He did magic using the game cards and make everyone amazed.

Fifth performer was Shigenobu (Japanese student) with his wholesome voice.

Sixth performer, Teacher Virginia sang a song “To love you more” popularized by Celine Dion with her beautiful voice.

Lastly, was Irene’s performance (Vietnamese student) who sang a Vietnamese song with her angelic voice.

Right after the performance, the Audience should list down on a paper three of the seven performers whom they think deserves to win the contest. After that, the staffs collaborated and counted the votes. I’m excited to know who the First Genius Got talent winner is.

DRUMMMMMMMRRRRRRRROLLLLLLSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.. Opssssss We have four winners.

AND THE WINNERS ARE————–Irene, Ali, Yuma and Maru.

 The talent show was ending up, of the proclamation of winners! Congratulations winners and thank you students and teacher Virginia for sharing your talents.

Furthermore, Genius English Proficiency Academy conducts an activity that will help students to boost their confidence in facing the crowds. Same as this talent night, this is one way of boosting once self-confident. We let students brandish their talents because we know we have this all, and our students have it!
