Genius English Students at Cebu Dream Show! (Study English)

         Philippine has best dance routines and festivals. To be familiar with the Philippine culture and traditional dances, Cebu Dream show is a perfect place to visit for. It is a nightly show that exhibits different cultural dances from the three island groups of the Philippines: Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

 Last week, Genius English Proficiency Academy students had a chance to visit at the Cebu Dream show and witness the different cultural dances of the Philippines. The students were having fun and enjoyed what they had seen. One of our students, Ali from Saudi Arabia had a chance to dance the “Tinikling dance” or “Bamboo Dance” with the Cebu Dream Show performers.

Tinikling Dance or Bamboo Dance is the most popular traditional Philippine dance which originated during the Spanish era. And it became the National Dance of the Philippines. The dance involves two people beating, tapping and sliding the bamboo and one will dance following the movements of the bamboo and be sure you will not step the bamboo.

Moreover, Ali from Saudi Arabia and Alex from Russia had also a chance to play the Philippine Musical instrument. Look they were enjoying!

      Aside from the Cultural Day of the school where Philippine culture is also celebrated, Genius English sent students to Cebu Dream show for the reason that the students will be much more acquainted of the country’s culture and tradition where they stayed now.
