the mother of Jesus.
mistletoe
a European semiparasitic green shrub (Viscum album of the family Loranthaceae, the mistletoe family) with thick leaves, small yellowish flowers, and waxy-white glutinous berries.
myrrh
a yellowish-brown to reddish-brown aromatic gum resin with a bitter slightly pungent taste obtained from a tree (especially Commiphora abyssinica of the family Burseraceae) of eastern Africa and Arabia.
Nativity
the birth of Jesus.
reindeer
also known as caribou. It is a large type of deer that lives in northern parts of the world.
Santa Claus
a plump white-bearded and red-suited old man in modern folklore who delivers presents to good children at Christmastime —called also Santa.
shepherd
a person who tends sheep.
sleigh
an open usually horse-drawn vehicle with runners for use on snow or ice.
star of Bethlehem
a star which according to Christian tradition guided the Magi to the infant Jesus in Bethlehem.
white Christmas
a Christmas when there is snow on the ground or when it is snowing.
Xmas
abbreviation or informal term for Christmas.
